The tech industry is a vital part of Canada’s forward growth: a 2019 report put the number of tech workers in the country at around 1.72 million, and employment in the sector is increasing by 3.6% year-on-year.

Canada is home to household names such as Facebook, Google and Airbnb, and Toronto is the third biggest tech hub in North America. There are plenty more tech cities too: Ottawa, Vancouver, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Montreal all have booming sectors.

Inward investment is on the rise as well: in 2021, CAE Inc, the Canadian manufacturer of aviation simulation technologies, announced it was investing C$1 billion over the next five years in innovation.

All these factors have created a surge for skilled candidates – and with job opportunities out there, it’s a great time to look for a new role. We’re highlighting three below, and for plenty more, check out our Job Board.
