Looking for a new and exciting role? Here are some fantastic companies that are actively recruiting for exciting positions in Canada. This week, we’re highlighting roles in MLSE, Pulse and Vena Solutions.

Digital Designer, MLSE

MLSE’s common purpose is to unite and empower employees to deliver extraordinary moments to fans and each other. They celebrate the diversity, individuality, and personality of their peers, striving to be the best in class, in every class. Their work goes beyond games, seasons, trophies, and tours. Their success is measured by more than a scoreboard.

As their Digital Designer, you will be a key player in taking simple concepts and turning them into inspired designs. Reporting to the Creative Lead, you will collaborate with other designers, animators, photographers, social and content teams, brands, and players to bring ideas to life through your presentations, layouts, and final designs.

You will have the autonomy to bring to life the designs that you are passionate about. Even as you work with a team and stay on brand, your creative touch will still be felt by fans across all the content that you create. You want to work on brands people love at a scale of millions in the age of instant reactions, trending hashtags, and trend influencers. You want to create designs that fans will wear, hold in their hands, interact with across every platform, and be overwhelmed by in the middle of Dundas Square.

This is an opportunity to join an organization rich in history and at the cutting edge of storytelling and further your design expertise with every new season, home-opener, and event on the calendar. More important than the sports, you want to grow with the brand and will become a part of the future of an organization that remains true to its vision to take sporting entertainment to a whole new level for spectators.

Senior Full Stack Developer, Pulse

Pulse Industrial is digitizing industrial plants with AI-powered sensor networks, with the primary goal of increasing energy efficiency. They are introducing the latest sensors and software to launch projects that are synonymous with environmental and economic savings. Their first application is for remotely monitoring steam traps – a common and important component of steam processes. Steam traps are known to fail frequently, and undetected failures are one of the largest inefficiencies plants experience. By monitoring steam traps continuously, industrial sites will be immediately notified of any failures that occur so they can be rectified; thereby saving money and reducing the chances of harmful events.

Pulse is looking for an intermediate-level candidate (5+ years) who has past experience with similar dashboarding products and working with small software development teams. You will become an expert on AWS and Web Based IoT software.  You will work closely with data scientists, engineering team, and operations team to deliver a quality product. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and can communicate well with people. They possess an analytical mind and can spot minor deviations in details. They have serious hustle and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Manager, Product Design, Vena Solutions

Vena is looking for a collaborative and empathetic Manager of Product Design to join a cross-functional team. You’ll become a member of a fast-growing high-impact product design team that touches every aspect of Vena’s user experience. You should have an understanding of iterative design, be comfortable with complexity, can represent design to different stakeholders, and most importantly have a stellar positive attitude.

They want you to join because you don’t see challenges, you see opportunities to be at your best and bring out the best in your team. This role requires expert leadership, bold innovation, attention to detail, obsession with quality, fearlessness, and optimism to be inspired by the unknown!

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years working on an in-house team designing for enterprise software solutions with a willingness to do design production work. You have led design teams in the past, effectively formulating direction and strategy, and have an entrepreneurial spirit in solving problems and overcoming obstacles with knowledge of agile and development lifecycles. You have a genuine passion for user-centered design, creating powerful products that inspire and delight users, and also you are a creative problem solver and strong passion for analysis with the ability to break down problems into logical pieces.
