Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (15,409.47, down 4.82 points).

Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX:ACB). Health care. Up $1.36, or 9.92 per cent, to $15.07 on 44.9 million shares.

Aphria Inc. (TSX:APH). Health care. Up 79 cents, or 4.13 per cent, to $19.90 on 10.8 million shares.

RNC Minerals. (TSX:RNX). Metals. Up five cents, or 6.33 per cent, to 84 cents on 9 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Industrials. Down two cents, or 0.5 per cent, to $3.99 on 8.6 million shares.

Canopy Growth Corp. (TSX:WEED). Health care. Up $8.85, or 13.64 per cent, to $73.75 on 7.6 million shares

The Green Organic Dutchman Holdings. (TSX:TGOD). Health care. Down 22 cents, or 3.73 per cent, to $5.68 on 6.9 million shares.

Canopy Growth Corp. The cannabis company has signed a deal to buy Ebbu Inc., a Colorado-based hemp researcher, in a stock-and-cash deal worth more than $425 million. Under the agreement, Canopy will pay $25 million in cash and issue 6,221,210 shares to Ebbu. The company will also pay up to an additional $100 million if certain scientific-related milestones are achieved within two years of the deal closing. Canopy will have the option of making the milestone payments in cash, shares or a combination of cash and shares.
